Showcasing his constant evolution and polishing the numerous details in his own production, Leiras reappears on the Ownlife platform in his very favorite format, the four tracker EP.
The Spanish artist captures the essence from his past label releases, in a record that balances strength and tension in different levels and layers.
The “A side” starts with a piece that approaches a palette of sounds from the classic techno genre, full of percussion sounds remaining from the late 90s combined with captivating sequences that communicate with each other in a perfect energetic spectacle.
In “Cauterized”, the pressure rises and the sound-design gives this powerful track a glance to the futuristic production approach.
“Ox emerald” pushes the boundaries once again with off-beat-rhythm pulses combined with a riveting multi-effected synth loop, just perfect for long mixes.
As a perfect final, “Tarmac Domain” with the classic Leiras signature sound ties this release together with this song’s remarkable utopian flavor.
